Michael Kio PhD

Founder/Technical Advisor

Mike has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and research doctorate in engineering. He is the founder of Cranenano LLC. Mike's current research interest is on nanoparticle and polymer transport mechanisms with applications in specialized, marine and biomedical coating. As an entrepreneur he has won awards both locally and regionally on his idea and formulation of hydrophobic nanocoating.

He is a senior member of the American Institution of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and have held several business positions. He is a chartered engineer in the United Kingdom and a professional project management practitioner (PMP) in the United States.

Atma Prakash PhD

Co-Founder/CTO

Atma is the Co-Founder and chief technology officer of Cranenano LLC. He is an enthusiastic and confident aerospace gas turbine engineer and obtained his PhD in gas turbine performance and emission. His doctoral research project was to predict NOx for the novel aero-engine combustors using stirred reactor approach and an additional assessment was performed to assess the sizing requirements for the RQL combustor design to meet the certification criteria for altitude relight at 10000m, he also investigated coatings for aero-engine combustors. Atma has been certified by toastmaster international as a competent communicator and leader.
